Hi guys,
I've received a suspicious mail from an english guy about an apartment in Birger Jarlsgatan 20. He wants that I send him money, for the first month and the deposit (300+600), by western union!!!
Obviously, I have refused his proposal!
I would like to present you a question: If I find an apartment on the internet, which is the best way to rent it since I live in an other country? Can I propose to the home owner to wait till my coming to pay the lease?
I'm looking for a furnished room with private toilet from the 1st March till the end of July because I'm going to work to the KTH for 5 months. If someone could help me, please contact me. My email is ziogiggi@live.it

Thanks for your response, a female student from Paris will be occupying a room in January 29th, each apartment has it own door lock for safety purpose. my Name is Peta Cochrane Originally from The United Kingdom. The apartment belongs to my late father and my mother has been managing and maintaining the apartment, but she is presently in Belfast due to her work and i also work in a call Center. The apartment is very close to city center, public transportation and supermarket.
However If you really have interest in renting the room just let me have
this request below
-FULL NAME,
-YOUR EXACT ARRIVAL DATE,
-YOUR DEPARTURE DATE,
-YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS
-SCANNED COPY OF YOUR INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT ID,
I will instruct our family lawyer to prepare the tenant agreement form for you to be assure that you are dealing with the right person and to see the terms and condition of the contract. Then if you are contented with the agreement you can proceed with the one month rent and security deposit to my mother in United Kingdom Via western union money transfer so that the room can be reserve for you till your arrival date, there are a lot of people who has interest in renting but my mother prefer the most serious person who pay her first.
The signed agreement form will be send to you first through attached mail with scanned page of my international passport, for you to read and understand after which you will proceed with the payment. I will send you the original copy through a registered courier to your address for you to sign and bring along with you when moving in.
Best Regards,
Peta Cochrane
This is another spam/ fake id which I believe is causing problems in the forumn. watch out!!

This person contacted me and I'm rather sure it's a fraud. I've looked up the e-mail in google and I found these links about her.
http://www.askedu.net/houserental/roommate.asp?u=6543
http://www.finlandforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=60608
In the second link she apparently "rents" a house in Finland too......!
I also quote her e-mail:
Hello,
My name is Viola Vester, working professional here in Stockholm,
non-smoking, active, very friendly, clean, and respectful.
I am seeking someone who meets the following description to rent my room:
Female or male, non-smoking, professional or Student. The most important thing
I'm looking for is to find a flatmate to share daily life and common values.
Contact me via my private email address for more information about the room and
pictures.
Regards
Viola.
Her e-mail address is
viola_vester001@yahoo.com
Be careful of this person!
Vangelis.
